Thank you for your query
Constipation for a couple of days after surgery is expected as your body recovers from surgery.
However,
Pregnancy hormones can cause constipation as well.
I would recommend adding fibre in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Increase your water intake , do it gradually. For instance, if you consume one liter(4 cups a day), increase it by a cup a day up to a total of 2.5 to 3 litres per day.
A good indicator would be your thirst, if you are thirsty you are not drinking enough. drink through the day, not all at once.
Too much caffeine can also dehydrate you
I would also suggest that you see your
OBGYN for the bleed, just to make sure it isn't too bad
Exercise also helps , but make sure you consult your doctor to ensure the level of exercise you can do now that you are pregnant.
I hope this helps . please let me know if you need any clarifications.
wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy. stay hydrated
