What Causes Constriction In Throat On Intake Of Lansoprazole?

I recently had a diagnosis of inflammation of the lower oesophagus and a hiatus hernia which resulted in a course of a high dose(60mg a day] of Lansoprazole which I have been taking for 2 months. I am experiencing a feeling of constriction in my throat most of the time rather like someone is pressing on my neck. Any idea what this could mean?

HI
Well come to HCM
Such symptom of discomfort in esophagus could be due to GERD only, if this is really hiatus hernia then this is surgical condition and this need to be managed accordingly here the possibility of "Helicobacter infection need to be ruled out" over all you need to be consult gastroenterologist for batter treatment, take care.
