I get suffered from thyphoid in in july 2016. But still i am facing hair loss. I had big and thick hair in the past before disease. But now it only remain one third of it.my hair are still falling. Did my hair grow back again from where they have broken from roots. How much will it take to get normal hairs. And to do to get them back
Hair loss among typhoid affected patients is quite normal. But this usually occurs in those patients who are already suffering from hair loss or hair loss is in their families.
Other people who do not have a history of hair loss, will usually regain it within 6 months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
