What Causes Continued Menstruation After Taking Triregol?

I started taking the triregol contraceptive pill 9 days ago on the first day of my period, on the 6th day I though I had finished bleeding but instead it just became really light like spotting, I have been bleeding for 9 days and I m not sure whether it s something to be worried about?

Hello,
There is nothing to worry because light bleeding or spotting is common in first few months of use of birth control pills. This spotting would subside gradually.
Carry on with your birth control pills regularly.
Consult the doctor in case bleeding becomes very heavy.
Thanks
