I belch continuous and sometimes finds it difficult to belch which makes me have pains on my chest and sometimes on my neck. When i eat i feel particles of the food in my throat not descending into my stomach.Could this be GERD?If it is can you please give me the right remedy?
Belching and chest pain is most likely due to GERD,but it is important to exclude cardiopulmonary causes also. It is important to know you age.As you have food stuck in throat, you may need barium swallow imaging. You need proper clinical examination and investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, liver function test, lipid profile, renal function test, chest X-ray (PA view),ECG,ECHO,TMT,upper GI endoscopy. Treatment depend upon findings. You may need proton pump inhibitors like tablet pantoprazole. You should take your food at regular intervals.
