What Causes Continuous Heavy Bleeding After Abortion?

Iam mrs.renuka I have a 12months old baby now.when my baby was 6th months old I conceived once and consulted doctor and taken some pills for miscarry and again I conceived when my baby was at 11th month and this time also I had same pills for miscarry but after taking pills this time I had bleeding for 8days and then bleeding hot stopped but i thought consulting a lady doctor for scan whether it's clearly done or not but when she scanned ,she said that I have got something outside of my ovaries and even though it's there that i don't need worry,but she given any medicine for that because it was not in a stage to give medicine and get cure .the only way is to prevent gaining weight in future if I gain weight it also increase in size and it causes to remove my ovaries and after all of this she gave me meprate10 mg pills for 21days course .but after having just 3pills it was heavy bleeding for me now , so, what's wrong with me....doctor

The two pathologies does not seem to be related to each other.
Some tissue around the ovary seems to be growth of the uterine lining (endometrium) on the ovary. This is called Chocolate cyst of the ovary. It may be removed surgically.
Your bleeding even 8 days after the abortion needs immediate attention. If ultrasonography reveals no remaining products of conception, you have aborted completely and hence you have to consider the following possibilities:
1. Please get your blood examined for any bleeding or clotting disorders. Initial bleeding time, clotting time, Platelet count and Fibrinogen degradation products will give some clue. If bleeding disorders are found, it will have to be tackled by appropriate factors to increase the capacity of the blood to stop the bleeding.
2. Please get your pregnancy test done. If the test is still positive after 10 days of abortion, you will have to consider the possibility of cancer of the chorionic tissue (precursor of the placenta). Quantitative estimation of hCG is more informative in such conditions. Such cancer - Choriocarcinoma can be completely cured by medicines like Methotrexate if diagnosed and treated in time.
You have been given Meprate pills which are Progesterone pills. I doubt how much they will be of any use to control this bleeding. Please report to a Gynaecologist ASAP for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
