Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Frequent vomiting for 1 day suggestive of acute gastritis could be due to viral or bacterial. Usually, after 1 day vomiting stops and diarrhea begins. It will self resolve. If child is continuously vomiting with poor oral intake and decreased urine output take him to nearby hospital immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
