What Causes Cough After Taking Blood Pressure Medication?
Yet again experiencing cough with blood pressure medication, this time it is a beta blocker Atenolol, have tried several others, Losarten, Ramapril, Alopodine, Felopodine, started coughing again this week, been on these for 3 weeks Saturday, can you help?

Investigation
First medical doctors exam of the Chest is necessary to confirm few clinical findings
1. Chest x Ray torule out oedema of the lungs cardiomegally due to hypertension
2. kidney functions UECs
3. Liver f nctions tests.
4. Ct scan Chest and abdomen for heart enlargement and liver congestion In congestive cardiac failure.
Treatment depends on the results
1 antihyprrtensive drugs as you have used
2. Diuretics
Consult Cardiologist
