What Causes Cough Along With Nasal Congestion And Wheezing In A Child?
10 year old with 1-day history of non-productive cough, wheezing, sob. Cough started while playing outside, came in rested, symptoms subsided, went back outside for 30 minutes then came back in with same symptoms. Small amount of nasal congestion, no sinus congestion. Symptoms are resolving on their own after resting. Diagnosed with Reactive airway disease at age 6 but no symptoms since then. Takes Singulair, Claritin for seasonal allergy. I am thinking asthma, exercised-induced asthma or maybe atrial septal defect that has not been diagnosed?

It could be an upper respiratory tract infection.
Consult a pediatrician and start a short course of antibiotics.
Steam inhalation can be also useful.
