Hi , two weeks ago I have done my gallbladder surgery because of chloecystitis and now I am having cough and trigger asthma .I have classic asthma but now getting worse than before. I am confused due to sugery or any reason ps help me..Thanks a lot !
By your history and description, possibility of post-surgical bronchitis is more likely. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done a clinical examination, chest X-ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
You will need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone). Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
