What Causes Cough And Bed Wetting Despite Giving Tylenol For Fever And Body Pain?

My 17 year old son. Has had a fever since Monday. As of Friday, fever at 38.7, which goes down when taking Tylenol. Severe muscles pains, headaches, vertigo, very weak, chest cough. When taking Tylenol, will drench the sheets of his bed, changed bed 3 ttimes, last night. Doing cold compress, fluids but chest cough is constant and fever is stable at 38.7

It could simply be a viral fever or possibly bacterial infection like pneumonia. Please be advised to follow up with the emergency room to undergo blood investigations, Chest Xray
