What Causes Cough And Congestion Along With Headache And Back Pain?

Hi I have been not feeling the same for awhile. Coughing up flem certain things make me nauseous that never used to bother me like the smell of bleach kitchen cleaner Windex and urine. I have been bleeding every month about the time or sometimes earlier then my period is expected. I have also been having a headache backache stomach cramping dizziness fatigue coughing up flem sneezing runny nose and moodiness. Just wondering if u maybe could tell me what s going on and what to do about it

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cough and congestion along with headache and back pain which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection leading to lung infection. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist/ pulmonologist once and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and Pulmonary Function Test done. You should go for X-ray chest. You need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. You should take muscle relaxants as well to avoid back pain. Avoid cold carbonated beverages.
