Hello As you stated in the query that cough was in the last month i.e.at least one month passed . You took steroid for its treatment . Now cough present including expectoration ( metallic taste ) and sneezing also present . Such symptoms may be due to these possibilities : 1 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis . 2 Tuberculosis . 3 Bronchictasis . 4 Lung abscess . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X RAY CHEST , Sputum for AFB ,Blood for cbc and esr . Steroid don't cure but this is only an emergency medicine , in most of cases it provide relief but not cure . So no consult a physician ( qualified ) and get his opinion.
