What Causes Cough And Pain In The Throat?

Hi, im 20. I have had a painfull throat for about a month, ots started with a cough (pain when swallowing) i just looked at the back of my throat and i saw what looks like a scar about a cm in width, could it be the scar from when my tonisils were removed when i was younger, or can it be serious?

hi,
its not emergency room serious right now but if you leave it like that may cause further complications.
you most probably be having a respiratory infection along with pharyngitis.use
moxikind cv twice daily for 5 days
azithromycin 500mg twice daily for 5 days
deriphylline150 mg twice daily.
complete the course if problem still persists contact your general physician for further tests and radiographs.
