Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Since you have a history of double bypass surgery done just 6 months back, the shortness of breath that you are experiencing should not be ignored. You need to visit ER, or your treating doctor without delay & get examined & evaluated for factors that can cause it. Sometimes it can be life threatening due to lung infection, atelectasis (blockage in the air ways), heart or fluid problems or pneumothorax. Don't worry, worries don't help but get treated in time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
