What Causes Cough And Sore Throat Along With Swollen Lymph Nodes?

i have had a cough and sore throat for 2 weeks. I have been able to control and get relief with over the counter meds. But now i have a lump on the left side of my throat and it is hard to swallow. Can my lymph node be swollen? what can i do about this. i do not have insurance so if i can avoid having to go in i would like that

The sore throat, with swollen lymphnode can be because of the bacterial infection. In case of any infection in the oral cavity, the regional lymphnodes will get enlarged. Nothing to be panic, consult an Oral physician or ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like levofloxacin (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling.
