Hi I have developed an annoying cough which also now develops into a shooting / swelling pain sensation at the tips of my fingers what may cause this ? Can you help

Swelling of the tips of fingers is known as clubbing. There are many possible causes of clubbing but respiratory, cardiac and gastrointestinal causes are most common. As you mentioned cough along painful swelling so the likely cause of your clubbing is respiratory aliment.
