Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cough and vomiting after eating with hoarseness and throat pain which are pointing towards upper respiratory tract infection , which can be caused by bacterial or viral infection. I t could be due to laryngitis which leads to inflammation of vocal cards. The symptoms you mention in query can also occur due to acid reflux condition for which you have to change your life style like eat light and non spicy , eating atleast one hour before going to bed and keep your head elevated while lying down. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like viral culture test , throat swab test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out causes. you should go for get laryngoscopy as well. Doctor may prescribe anti bacterial amoxicillin or anti viral acyclovir depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestants . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist ,who may prescribe H2 blockers along with antacids .For now continue doing gargles and drink one spoon of honey mix with glass of lukewarm water.
