What Causes Cough, Chest Tightness, Pricking Pain In Arms And Abdomen?

I have been having tightness in chest pin prick feeling in both upper arms and kind of like stabbing pain in upper abdomen with a cough on and Off for months now. I am a very anxious person so I thought maybe that was it. My resting heart rate is about 80-90 I am 42 about 20 lbs over weight, my last physical showed no issues which was about a year ago and no family history of heart disease. Web MD suggests it s either pulmonary embolism, peripheral neuropathy or a heart attack??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may have hiatal hernia or GERD gas pain. It would be better to make some examinations like an electrocardiogram to exclude heart disease, meantime you should check blood pressure. Also, X- ray of the chest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
