What Causes Cough, Sore Throat And Severe Fatigue?

I have been off and on sick for 2 years with what seems like a cold that just won t go away. Drs have treated me with sseveral antibiotics with no success. I have a persistent cough, sore throat, & severe fatigue (I couldn t keep up with my CMA duties & left my job). I have blue and red spots on the roof of my mouth, tiny red dots all over the inside of my mouth, a fairly large (approx 1 in) Brown spot on the left side in front of my tonsils...I also have a swollen lymph node on left upper side of my neck & swelling on the underside of my jaw & upper front of my neck. I ve had diarrhea since these issues began & have dropped quite a bit of weight. My thyroid has been tested and all levels were normal. I am also experiencing symptoms of menopause: hot flasjes, severe soaking night sweats, & irregular periods. I have also had cervical cancer removed 15 years ago. My Drs aren t doing much and I m tired of feeling I ll & anxious, it d be nice to know what is wrong.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have cough, sore throat and fatigue. You may have some upper respiratory tract infection. You also have enlarged lymphnode which may be due to reactive lymphoid hyperplasia due to infection. Ypu should go for complete blood count and fine needle aspiration cytology of lymphnode. This will help you to find exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Antibiotics like levofloxacin, augmentine, azithromycin, cephalosporin can be used if there is infection. These all are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
