Hello, I was having pains under my left rib cage on October 18 and while ruling out a heart attack a ct scan was run. During the ct w/ contrast there was nodularity noted with the largest being around 1.5 cm and I was diagnosed within a week as having pneumonia. It's now been 6 weeks and I am no better. I still feel horrible and cough alot sometimes producing white (occassionally with yellow) foamy mucus. I have taken a ZPAK & half a round of cipro with no avail. I had a repeat Ct today which still shows the same and was prescribed doxycycline for 7 days. Can this still be pneumonia after this long? What about the lung nodules? Should I worry about them?
