General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The ER visit depends upon the symptomatic severity. The cause seems infection through some sort of bacteria or virus.

If the issue of coughing, the frequency of stool and stomach pain are intense, one has to be at ER.

But if they are not much annoying, one can wait till the appointment.

Salient guidelines at present
- plenty of liquids
- dietary measures to avoid spices, non-veg, junk kinds of stuff
- gargles with salted lukewarm water
- probiotics support great
- cough pearls for primary soothing with turmeric powder and tulsi as herbal support.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
