What Causes Coughing Up Blood After Experiencing Choking Sensation And Throat Pain?

yes a week ago Friday I had gone to a diner with my daughter. i was eating some mixed nuts when I started to choke very badly after about an hour I started filling a little better so I went home. For the next 6 days I was very sick hi fever and my throat still hurt. Tonight I was trying eat some diner and I started choking I suddenly coughed up what looked like a peanut and what looked like a bunch of bloody mucous. I don't know what happened but I am 100% better is this possible

Hi, i do care for your concern.
The symptoms said by you suggest forgein body aspiration, due to violent coughing the object might lodged in any of the blind pouch in pharynx, and caused much of symptoms.
Due to this inflammation be produced and on another exertion it might have dislodged.
I would advise
If the symptoms are not present, then need not worry as everything will be alright.
In case pain and respiratory difficulty present its advisable to consult physician and get X-ray done.
