What Causes Coughing Up Blood?
Hi a man I know has been an alcoholic for many years his father died from alcohol and now he is pooling out blood but is not going to the doctor will rather sit at a bar and drink and now worrie about what is happing to him? Is this normal for alcoholic or is their something really wrong?

Coughing up blood in alcoholic person is not a gud sign. Rather it should be treated in emergency. The coughing up of blood suggest esophageal varices which require surgical intervention.
I appreciate your concerns about that man. If possible, you should persuade him and take him to nearest doctor as his condition might worsen if not treated urgently.
