What Causes Coughing Up Of Blood And Mucus?

Hi I had a sinus surgery yesterday. I obviously feel congested, but when I swallow it slightly makes me lightly blow my nose. -as long as it s not hard is that ok? Plus I am coughing up a little blood and mucus. And when I change my dressing the mucus is jelly clear like substance. Lastly can my body be very ACLU from the anesthesia? Thank you for your time. Today (Thursday) packing stents come out on Monday.

So Mild amount of blood and mucus in cough in post sinus surgery; which is a normal phenomenon.

However, if it persists or gets heavier, it needs evaluation.
