Coughing up of green phlegm is due to upper respiratory tract infection leading to bronchitis. It could be due to poor immune system of body. Consult pulmonologist once for proper evaluation and get it diagnosed. you should go for blood tests, sputum tests and X-ray chest done along with pulmonary function tests to know about exact extent of infection. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin along with antihistamine. Take nebulization with salbutamol and pulmicort. You should do warm saline gargles and avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid exposure to allergens.
