What Causes Cough,loss Of Appetite And Stomach Pain In A Child?
My 5 yr old has bad stomach pains, loss of appetite, been sick, a bad cough and now Her eyes have swelled up. Taken her to the doctor twice but said it was a viral infection and have given her paracetamol. Said it wasn t appendicitis as it didn t hurt enough when they pressed her tummy? Do you agree?

Hello,
It may be due to stomach infection.
For that you may require complete hemogram, throat swab, ultrasound abdomen after pediatrician consultation.
He may require antibiotics after consultation.
Keep him well hydrated and give soft diet.
Maintain proper hygiene
