What Causes Crack At The Back Of Ear?

I have a crack at the back of my right ear in the crease that weeps and then dries over with flaky skin that peels off and then weeps again...I was told it could be eczema or dermatitis and so I ve tried cortisone cream without success...Any idea what is causing it and how it can be treated?

Hi,

This probable eczema as you have been told. Keep on Cortisone cream and add to it Vaseline cream three times per day.
