What Causes Cracking Sound And Pain In The Right Shoulder Despite Using NSAIDs?

Long term repetitive work...have had clicking in rt shoulder for a few years. In the last wk have experienced (dull to stabbing) pain whenever I move my arm. Cannot move arm upwards 3/4 raised, shoulder pain and soreness. Pain if I put pressure on rt arm/hand. Some relief with NSAIDs and rest but seems to be getting worse daily. Bursitis? Frozen Shoulder?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to your complaint following causes has to be ruled out...
-Arthritis
-frozen shoulder
-bursitis
-muscular strain etc

For that x ray should be done and if needed MRI like higher investigation needed

For frozen shoulder if confirmed ibuprofen like anti-inflammatory drug prescribed
If needed steroid injection useful..
If still not helpful than surgical management might needed
Along with above treatment physiotherapy should be done...

Hope your concern solved

Take care

Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and further work up accordingly
