What Causes Cracking Sounds In Knee While Standing?
My right knee cracks make sounds every time I stand up with not pain at the beginning few days later stiffens in the back of the knee...Lay-down tremendous discomfort and a little pain I started to taken the Glucosomine that always works and use a knee brace, but a this time I got hit by a wave in the ocean that I notice I twist the leg..two day later the pain don t go away with Ibuprofen..I start taking Parafon forte 2 daily, it was recovering, but today I have on the back of my knee notorious fat, is not a swelling, or maybe it this, and stiffness.I massage my leg from the back of the knee up and sense nudes, tense the cartilages...
I think you should get further evaluated. I believe you are having a sprain of the knee while an ocean wave hit it. You can keep it elevated, use ice compresses and have rest till you get to doctor. Continue using ibuprofen orally.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
