What Causes Crackling, Painful Knees, Swollen Feet And Burning Hands?

I am 37yrs old. I have pain on the side of my foot, both knees grind, crackle and hurt, both feet swell a lot and my hands have a near constant burning, tingly feeling to the point they hurt so bad it wakes me up and I have to dangle them over bed to get it to stop.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, your symptoms are if Vitamin B12 deficiency and it can easily be replaced with the good supplements available over the counter rich in vitamin b complex. You should improve your diet and take vegetables and fresh salads plus taking meat will help a lot. I would suggest you to get uric acid levels done for the pain in ankle and feet and if it’s normal then start calcium and vitamin D supplements as well.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
