What Causes Cracks And Callus On The Tip Of Fingers?
I have something wrong with the skin on the tips of two fingers. I have seen two doctors and got two types of cream and this has not helped. The skin cracks and almost heals and then the skin immediately hardens and then cracks again. It is painful with the cracks and with the hardened skin there is a loss of feeling to touch. I will be seeing my doctor in a couple of weeks - it is very annoying and embarrising.

If you are handling lifting of heavy weight or handling of some chemicals or this type of work can give rise this type of rough and hard finger tip skin.
Once crack become infected give rise to pain.
Apply Dipsalic or triple action cream for some time.
