What Causes Cracks And Pain In The Nasal Septum?

My nasal septum is cracked and painful. It almost seems like the skin got so dry it split. Both sides are affected right at the entrance to the nostril, right where the nostril and septum meet. It is not from an injury, the cracks are there year-round, and ive been dealing with this for a few years now. Putting neosporin or chapstick on the cracks does temporarily relieve the pain, but nothing so far has helped the cracks heal. What is this and how can i make the cracks go away?

Hello,

The most common symptom of a deviated septum is nasal congestion, with one side of the nose being more congested than the other, along with difficulty breathing. Recurrent or repeated sinus infections can also be a sign of a deviated septum. Other symptoms include frequent.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
