What Causes Cramping/aching In Groin With Family History Of Antiphospholipid Syndrome?

Hello, recently I have experienced horrible cramp/aches in my groin area. I know this can easily be passed as period pains however I have not suffered from pain to this extent. This would normally be of no concern to me however I cannot remember my last period. There is no chance of me being pregnant (as I have not had sex) and I am concerned that I have inherited antiphospholipid syndrome as my mother has my mother and many family members before have had this. Is there a possibility they are linked?
