What Is Antiphospholipid Syndrome?

Hi i have had mabthera in the last 8 months for lymphoma,i also have antiphosphlipid syndrome ,and moyamoya,and now my left leg is again swollen left leg again,i have had a dvt in that leg years ago,just wondering what is now happening ,finding it hard to walk again my height 160 and weight 89 .age 59.

Hi thanks for asking question.

Antiphospholipid syndrome is congenital condition in which there are more chances of thrombosis of vessel.

Meanwhile you have lymphoma also.so lymphatic blockage can present.so fluid can't drain from lymphatic vessel .so edema can occur....

Consult surgeon for DVT for treatment..try compression stockings and leg elevation daily.Anticoagulant can be taken...

If suspicion of metastasis CT scan can be done...
