Hi,
It is difficult to determine the exact cause of your symptoms without a physical examination and additional information, but there are a few possibilities that could be causing your cramps,
fatigue, and discharge.
*
Hormonal changes: As you are on the pill, the hormonal
changes in your body could be causing irregularities in your menstrual cycle and leading to symptoms such as cramping and fatigue.
* Uterine fibroids: These are non-cancerous growths in the
uterus that can cause cramping, heavy bleeding, and fatigue. They are more common in women of reproductive age and may require medical treatment depending on the severity of the symptoms.
* Endometriosis: This is a condition where the tissue that lines the uterus grows outside of it, leading to cramping, pain, and fatigue. It can also cause irregular bleeding and discharge.
* Miscarriage: If you were pregnant and experienced the discharge of tissue, it is possible that you had a miscarriage. This can cause cramping and fatigue as well.
Your doctor may recommend imaging tests, blood tests, or a physical examination to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. In the meantime, make sure to rest, stay hydrated, and avoid any strenuous activities that could worsen your symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
