Cramps in the calves & feet at night is commonly a sign of developing diabetic neuropathy. Control your blood sugar levels at all cost. Neglect may result in the worsening of the symptoms.
It can also occur due to dehydration or imbalance in your body electrolyte level. Stay well hydrated & take plenty of water, soups & juices.
Sometimes, such symptoms can also be due to PAD, clogged arteries in the legs can be related to the clogged arteries in the heart.
