Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter just turned 50 and has had a problem with her feet and cramps in her calves. She has been to a doctor and he put her on medicine. But last night she said she had bad cramps and was walking around trying to get rid of them. Then she saw that the blood veins were sticking out from her feet to almost her knees. Then they started to tingle. What could cause that. She did say she stopped taking the medication for a few days because she ran out.

What Causes Cramps In The Feet And Calves?
Hello, Cramps in calves associated with tingling sensation could be due to some neurological problem. Prominent blood vessels in the leg do not seem to be associated with the neurological problem. Doppler ultrasound of legs and feet can be done to assess the veins in the legs. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
