What Causes Cramps In The Foot And Thigh?

Hi. I had a condition as a child that caused a slight pigmentation issue on my right foot in the arch, and back of my right thigh. It caused painful cramping and eventually some muscle waste. My parents no longer have my medical records and can t remember exactly what it was called but were told it may come back at puberty or menopause. Seems I m cramping often and possibly more muscle waste, now in my right ankle area. Have no idea how to even start looking now for possible conditions. Am a 52 yr old female, basically healthy.

Hi,

As per your history, it may be due to exhaustion or electrolyte imbalance. Kindly do serum electrolyte, complete hemogram. You may require oral rehydrational solution, syp. Kesol after consultation. Keep yourself hydrated. Take proper rest. Don'y be over exhaust. Take proper food and do proper warm up before any activity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
