I have cramping type pain from a recently applied urethra stent. I was give two prescriptions for this pain and I mailed it to caremark.. Is there something I can use over the counter that might help like motrin or advil? I don t usually take many pain meds and don t know which I may use for this

Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. Yes, till you get the specific drug advised by your urologist doctor... you can take Motrin( ibuprofen- If you do not have kidney infection ) or Phenazopyridine pill ( which will stain your urine reddish yellow ) with plenty of water,over the counter. Thanks
