What Causes Cramps In Upper Chest Of A Heart Patient?

My husband, 66, bypass surgery about 9 yrs ago. Had yearly checkup with heart doctor last week. He didn t feel well yesterday. This morning went to work ( we have own business) still not feeling well, almost feels like a pull in his left upper chest below heart, it comes and goes. Late today said still not feeling up to par. Now saying it s not too bad, says slight soreness like feeling

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your husband symptoms of occasional left upper chest pain with associated heart bypass surgery i am suggesting that he has the following differential diagnosis

Coronary vasospasm
Coronary arterial disease
Unstable Angina
Myocardial ischaemia
Aortic dilatation /Aneurysm

In view of this please let him do the following test
ECG
EKG
Coronary angiography

Meanwhile please see a cardiologist specialist with the results and for further expect clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
