General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Crawling sensation and pain in skin could be caused by skin microfiliria. The symptoms of skin microfilaria occur mostly at nights.I will suggest you see the Doctor for a skin snip test for microfilaira and also a peripheral blood test collected at night. From the results, treatment options may be discussed.
If no parasites found, then what you are suffering from could be delusory parasitosis. It may feel like worms or bugs are crawling on or biting the skin.
See your Doctor for investigation.
Hope this will help
Best regards
