What Causes Crawling Sensation In The Neck, Shoulders And Upper Arms?
My lower neck, upper shoulders, upper arms and feet feel like something is crawling on me when I m usually in the sitting position. I have degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine and degenerative joint disease in my L4 and L5. Is this normal? It s very annoying and troubling. What can I do to ease the symptoms. I also feel the sensation in the upper part of my right thumb at times.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Crawling sensation what you are experiencing is due to peripheral nerve compression as a result of cervical spine pathology. Kindly take Tablet. Neurobiology Forte once a day for 1month and wear cervical collar during most of the time in a day. Supportive physiotherapy rehabilitation would also help in addition. Gradually, your symptoms should subside. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr. Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
