General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Crawling sensation also known as formication can occur in diseases causing peripheral neuropathy. Anti-cancer medications can also cause peripheral neuropathy which can present as crawling / tingling or burning sensation over your body. Vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiency should also be ruled out. Routine Vitamin B12 and also folic acid supplements can be taken once or twice a day to reduce these symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
