After my 20 month old had a evening of vomiting possibly the stomach flu she (she seems fine now no vomiting) but has had creamy clay colored stool for about 2-3 days now. Other then teeth and being a bit fussy from teething she has had no additional changes in her health including no abdominal pain, changes in skin color, no changes in eating or drinking patterns. What could be the cause of change in her stool color be?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Nothing to be concerned about this. It is usual to have change is in the stool of the child. This is most probably caused by the food he have recently like excessive fatty foods or excessive milk. As he do not have any abdominal pain, loose stools or change in cloud of skin like jaundice, nothing to be concerned about this.
His eating habits are also normal.
Hope thishelps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
