I have been doing a workout program that consists of 30 minute workouts every day. My right knee clicks and grinds, which is not a new development. However, when I work (12 hour shifts), my right knee swells significantly and feels full of fluid. When I am not working, the swelling goes down, but I can feel a lump on the medial outer part of me knee, and it feels bruised. I m thinking I strained a ligament (perhaps the MCL?). Other than rest, I have started taking Omega 3 with glucosamine. Do you have any other recommendations? I have taken 3 days off working out to rest it, but I would like to get back to being active again.
