What Causes Curved Jaw Line, Lack Of Sense Of Smell And Unclear Speech?
My daughters school nurse wants me to have my daughter checked for some kind of syndrome. She said it had had these conditions. Rounded jaw line, not able to smell, walk slumped over, Other problems she has is very unclear speech and early development. She s 12 now

Understanding your concern. As per your query you havecurved jaw line, lack of sense of smell and unclear speech which could be due to use of some medication , sinusitis , oral infection nerve dysfunction like glossopharyngeal . Facial palsy such bell's palsy can cause such symptoms . Maintain a proper dental hygiene to prevent gingivitis or stomatitis. Avoid smoking if person is habitual. I would advice use of oral corticosteroids as well because if its due to any allergy it will resume back taste. I would suggest you to visit neurologist once and take medications which lower down autoimmune or nervous system disorder. Doctor may also refer you to oral surgeon for TMJ problem . Give them diet rich in zinc supplements as that will recover there taste.
