What Causes Cystic Acne On The Lower Chin?
I just came back from a dermatologist visit, he diagnosed me with cystic acne on my lower chin. He suggested a steroid injection. Can this be related to ovarian cyst? I was born with a teratoma that was surgery removed when I was 18 years old. I am now 63. Please advise.

Variety of causes like genetic, hormonal changes, stress or diet changes may cause cystic acne.
So use antibiotics, and if inflammation is more may need a steroid injection into cyst may reduce the inflammation and scarring if lesions.
Please consult your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
