What Causes Dampness Around The Anus Along With Severe Flatulence?
Hello I have had a problem with my backside for three years I get a damp bottom and is extremely sore this is aggravated more if I pass wind which feels like battery asid on my skin around my anus . I don t seem to be getting enywear with my gp I have been given creems of every discripson olong with lots I have bought myself .can you help please thanks

From the medical history you provided it seems that most probably you have developed anal fissures (tear in and around your anal area )
Anal fissures are caused due to prolong constipation or diarrhea , this is very painful condition and needs medical attention
most anal fissure heal with conservative treatment including topical ointments , warm baths and laxatives if severe constipation is there
but if these fissures are failed to heal within 1-2 months than these are called chronic fissures and may need surgical treatment
however if you do not have any constipation or bowel issues , no pain while defecation , than your problem may be related to some other medical conditions including skin disorders and i would strongly suggest you to see a colorectal surgeon to rule out any underlying medical condition
