What Causes Dandruff On The Crown Of Head Along With Severe Itching?

Hi doctor, iam suffering from dandruff which I can see only in centre of my head , its spreads like white carpet, & its itchy , to avoid I tried head& shoulders shampoo, but still I found same after I take bath. Now I heard about a shampoo name called KZ can I use it?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the white flakes over entire scalp along with itching seems to be due to Seborrheic Dermatitis commonly known as Dandruff..
It is commonly caused due to fungal infection while can also be due to stress, poor maintenance of hair and scalp cleanliness etc..
I would suggest you to start applying shampoo containing Ketoconazole, coal tar, salicylic acid,sulfur, zinc, selenium etc..
Massage your scalp with a steroid lotion..
Wash the scalp every alternate day..
Avoid accumulation of sweat and moisture in scalp and always keep it dry and clean..
Gently rub the scalp with comb or brush and try to peel off the dandruff..
